Dr. Aliquippa Allen
Dean of the College of Business and Technology, University of West Alabama
Dr. Aliquippa Allen is Dean, College of Business and Technology, and a 28-year Air Force Veteran. After joining the UWA faculty in 2008, she held positions as a Department Chair, Associate Dean, Interim Dean, and Chair of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs for Region 3. Aliquippa received the 2013 William E. Gilbert Award for Outstanding Teaching. While in the Air Force, Aliquippa served as the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 81st TRW Keesler AFB, MS, Commandant, Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, Peterson AFB, CO, Superintendent, Inspector General Team, Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB, CO, and Weapon Systems Manager, HQ USAFE, Ramstein AB, Germany. Dr. Allen serves on the Marengo County Economic Development Authority Board, Alabama Communities of Excellence, and Demopolis Area Habitat for Humanity Boards. She is an entrepreneur and has degrees in Organization and Management, Procurement and Acquisition, Information Systems, and Logistics Management. Aliquippa has one son, Darius Allen.
