COLLEGE COLORS DAY

College Colors Day is a national celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that make the college experience great. Since its inception in 2005, College Colors Day has grown rapidly across the country. Each year thousands of organizations and millions of individuals participate by donning the colors of their favorite college or university throughout the day.

College Colors Day strives to advocate for higher education through celebrating the achievements of colleges and universities, increasing public awareness and advocating for higher ed's fundamental importance.

Higher Education Partnership's College Colors Proclamation Day

Prior to the national event each year, student leaders and mascots join the Governor of Alabama for a press conference to proclaim a date for College Colors Day in Alabama. The Higher Education Partnership connects with the STARS Coordinator and SGA leaders from each campus to organize a delegation from the campus to participate. For more information please contact Ale'gna at adavis@higheredpartners.org or your University's SGA.
