REGISTRATION
Hosted by the Higher Education Partnership, the 2024 STARS Leadership & University Advocates Conference will be held in August at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa in Destin, Florida from August 5th- 7th. The conference features specialty breakout sessions as well as general sessions, panel discussions and lunch with a featured speaker. HEP Board members should make plans to attend the board meeting scheduled for the end of the conference.
The STARS Leadership and University Advocates Conference offers a learning experience and an opportunity to network with peers. Conference participants will enjoy the opportunity to enhance their skills of leadership and advocacy while gaining insight about issues facing Alabama.

We invite student leaders, educators, alumni and statewide advocates to take part in this engaging meeting where we'll build collaboration across all 14 of our campuses and refine the knowledge and skills necessary to lead not only on campus but across the state.
SLUAC: Registering Groups Together
First, decide how many will be sharing a room. In the "Quantity" column on the next page, select the quantity of ROOMS you'll need, utilizing the descriptors for how many conference registrants will be in each room. In the order form, you'll have the opportunity to tell us the names of who should be in each room.

Ex: You want to register 6 students - 4 women and 2 men. They'll stay in 2 different rooms. Select 1 of the "4 FullReg @$620each, 1rm, 2dy" tickets and 1 of the "2 FullReg @$800 each, 1rm, 2dy."
Enter your contact information in the "Buyer Details" section. Enter each students' individual information in Rooming Section.
Add On: Alumni Task Force Meeting
For Alumni Directors planning to attend SLUAC, we are excited to offer an additional meeting opportunity beginning Sunday, August 4 and concluding before the full conference agenda begins on August 5th. The Alumni Directors' Task Force will meet at the Courtyard Marriott nearby the conference hotel.

To add on a registration for the Alumni Task Force meeting for one person:
1. Select your SLUAC registration option in the form (ex: "1 Room, 1 Person," Quantity: 1)
2. Also select "Alumni Task Force Meeting," Quantity: 1
SLUAC: Registering As An Individual
To register as an individual who is not planning to share a room with any other conference participants, select the option "1 room, 1 person." Enter the quantity of rooms needed in the far right column.
Registration includes a hotel room at the Hilton SanDestin, checking in August 5th and checking out August 7th. The following meals are also included in your registration cost:

SLUAC: Options and Add- Ons
Option: Conference Registration Only -
At the bottom of the registration form, there is an option for "Conference Registration Only." This option does NOT include a hotel room. If using this option, please select the number of conference participants.

Add On: Welcome Dinner -
This add on is for additional individuals who do NOT plan to register for the conference but would like to attend the welcome dinner on the beach deck. Add on does not include registration or hotel room. This is ideal for those who may have family or guests sharing their hotel room during the conference!

For Alumni Task Force members, we are pleased to offer an additional meeting prior to the SLUAC conference. Please read the description above!
