Representative Bill Poole
Alabama House of Representatives, Chairman of the House Ways and Means Education Budget Committee
Representative Bill Poole was first elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2010. He serves on the House Ways and Means Education Budget Committee, judiciary, Tuscaloosa County Legislation and Technology and Research Committees. Representative Bill Poole grew up in the small black belt town of Dayton in Marengo County. He and his wife Nicole are the parents of Sally and William Poole. The Pooles are members of first United Methodist Church in Tuscaloosa. Bill is involved in many community groups including the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls club of West Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Law. He has been a general practice attorney since 2004.
