A paid announcement of the Higher Education Leadership Political Action Committee


As a statement of their commitment to the future of Alabama’s public universities, faculty, staff, alumni, students and other proponents of Alabama’s 15 public, four-year institutions have actively supported the Higher Education Leadership Political Action Committee. The PAC is dedicated to helping elect candidates that will support Alabama’s public universities. The PAC is the first of its kind to be focused on the issues impacting the state’s 15 public universities.
In the 1998 elections, the Higher Education Leadership Political Action Committee is notifying all interested stakeholders of the importance of supporting candidates who will stand up for their universities.
To further emphasize the importance of supporting pro-university candidates, the Higher Education Leadership Political Action Committee is encouraging all university constituents to actively register voters, work in campaigns and share the story of the importance of Alabama’s universities. In addition, the PAC is endorsing the following candidates:
