The Higher Education Partnership Foundation, Inc. (Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) organization formed for the purpose of promoting public higher education in the State of Alabama. The Foundation will enhance the effort to improve long-term economic and quality of life opportunities for the people of Alabama. The primary goal of the Foundation is to serve as a vehicle for educating people about the importance of higher education in bettering the lives of the people of Alabama.

Through donations, the Foundation provides leadership training, promotes awareness of higher education among leaders, and offers leadership retreats for university students, alumni, faculty, etc. We plan to strengthen the communications abilities of these participants and to teach them “how to influence public policy.” We want the participants to be better prepared to advocate for public universities and to relate the importance of higher education in bettering the lives of people in Alabama.

Goal:

Our goal is to grow Alabama’s campus leadership into great statewide leaders that will impact the future of the state. The Partnership is seeking to encourage, inform, train and involve university leaders in statewide initiatives designed to make Alabama a better state. We deliver a message that makes them aware of the economic, cultural and social contributions of Alabama’s 13 public, four-year universities.

Target Audience:

The target audience are student leaders, faculty, alumni, etc. from Alabama’s 13 public universities who have a desire to “make a difference” in the future of Alabama’s higher education community.

How we work:

By learning the importance of higher education in their communities, and by learning how to build a team to accomplish their goals, Alabama’s future leaders will realize that THEY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

How you can help

Corporations, groups and individuals are invited to make donations to the Foundation. All contributions are tax deductible and can be made by accessing the attached form. Donations can be made with a credit card or check by printing and mailing this form.

We recognize the value of wise stewardship and sponsor identification. Therefore, when you become a donor to the Higher Education Partnership Foundation, Inc., your corporation or name will be listed on our website. We will provide exposure for your company/group on all signs displayed at leadership retreats and events.
